PatRICK Hayes is a New York based Lighting Designer and programmer, specializing in concert, film, and theatRICAL visualS. With an impressively diverse repertoire, he holdS credits on The Decemberists Your Girl / Your Ghost Tour, Rob Thomas Chip Tooth Tour, and hbo's Jerrod carmichael: 8.
Cutting his teeth at the Carnegie Mellon University School of Drama, PatRICK earned an MFA in Lighting Design in 2016 and immediately made a splash in the concert lighting world, acting as A LIGHTING DIRECTOR for Flight of the Conchords. He would go on to program more tv spots including HBO’s 2 Dope Queens and Netflix’s W. Kamau Bell: Private School Negro, and THEN hit the road with musical acts Emily King, Mott the Hoople, and Dermot Kennedy.
Known among his clients and colleagues as personable, intuitive, and knowledgeable, PatRICK takes on challenges and ambiguities head on, constantly working them into an advantage. From CLUBS TO ARENAS, his expertise in the entertainment lighting and design industry spans far and wide, and he’s always up for more.
Pat enjoys spending his time in NYC, LA, NASHVILLE, and his native Cleveland. When he’s not on tour or on set, you can find him catching up on true crime podcasts, sampling craft beer, exploring the city, or hanging out with his cat, Duffy.
